The publishing house "Diagone” declared 2014 as a year
of reading. The campaign was joined Ilia Chavchavadze state Kutaisi scientific
Library - one of the oldest library of our country, which has around 1 million copies
(manuscripts, documents).
Fund "Sukhumi" become a participant of
library activities, further joint measures are also planned.
The presentation of the book ”The poetry of Abxazian”
was held at the library on February 4-th. The author of this book is a young
poet, a student of Kutaisi state university Temur Khadjhba, who wrote poetry in
Georgian language.
There presentation was attended by number of guests
(teachers, lecturers, journalists, writers, poets, members of government and
Non-governmental organizations) and the main massage of the meeting was the
maintenance of the peace. It has been mentioned many tomes that such events
serve as a mean of restoring broken bridges (links) between the Georgians and
Abkhazians.
The young poet moves his feeling on the page – every
line is full of love toward Abkhazian. Temur Khadjhba left Ochamchire when he
was two, but has never abandoned the hope of returning to his native land. |
