Project title: Work to increase women’s activity, motivation of the society and political parties, with the purpose to achieve gender equality in Georgian politics
The project is implemented is implemented with the support of the organization NED – National Endowment for Democracy, USA.
The project objectives:
· Support of Women Voters’ activity and strengthening their role in promoting gender equality in western Georgia
· Encourage the social perception of women’s role and raise public awareness of the need for equal participation of women in political life
Project period: October 01, 2010 – September 30, 2011
Project area: regions of Western Georgia – Imereti, Samgrelo, Adjara, Guria
