The School of Leader Girls of the fund “Sukhumi” prepared the fifth group of graduators. The girls gathered on the final workshop to evaluate a year of activities.

What changes and successes were achieved, what influence they had on society – for receiving answers to these questions, the participants worked in groups according the cities. The meeting was attended by the leaders of youth centers also, who summarized the network activities.

Informational meetings and discussions in schools, universities, collaboration with local self-government, peaceful actions, sport activities, competitions, more than 50 activities in the campaign of 16 active days…the results showed influence on changes, which were implemented in all 6 cities as a results of their activities.

Finally the members of leader girls’ school were awarded with diplomas and certificates.

Unusually sweet meeting was held in Khoni WSC.

Culinary master-class was attended by activists of the center. They received advises by experienced baker, how to bake a cake in a way to be soft and sweet.

Members of the meeting were involved in the process of preparation, at the end all together tried the cake “Ideal”, which was really ideal.

Recently, culinary master-classes have become popular at the Women's Support Centres. In October, such events were held at the Women's Support Centers in Kutaisi and Senaki.

In Khoni was held a master-class on hairdressing skills, which was attended not only by girls but also women. Participants of the master-class listened with a special interest to the leader who focused on specific methods of hair care, creating of haircuts.

The leader of the master-class that was organized in Kutaisi and Senaki, started from listing of ingredients necessary for cooking of the salad. During the master-class participants actively asked questions and learned the technology of cooking. They did not only ask questions, but also shared their culinary experiences. They wrote down a personal recipe of one of the participants.

Two hours passed on the background of lively discussion. At the end each of the participants had the opportunity to taste the dish cooked during the master class.

Based on the great interest and requests of the participants the similar master-classes will also be held next month.

Conduction of master classes is one of the ways for rapprochement, mobilization and rehabilitation of IDP women and girls, as a result of which they have a desire to participate in other activities.

IDP women and girls gathered at the Women’s Support Center of Senaki learned to cook a cake.

During the master class participants learned about the ingredients necessary for making a cake. They got a few tips on how to prepare the cake so that it was airy and tasty.

The participants were actively involved in the process of cooking, and finally tasted the cake which they cooked together.

A master class in cooking was held in the Women's Support Center in Khoni.

There was cooked a meat salad. Women think that they learn a lot at master classes. They record all the recipes of tasty salads, cakes and pastries, cooked at the master classes, in order to cook themselves for their family members at home.

Participants of the master class were also provided with the information about the 16-day campaign. They were handed out posters and leaflets about the campaign.

Women and young women IDPs gather in Women’s Support centres on the appointed day and hour to exchange experiences and skills of cooking.

In October master classes in cooking took place in Tskhaltubo (12.10.10), Khoni (14.10.10) Senaki (22.10.10) and Poti (20.10.10). Women have demonstrated their skills in preparing salads, pizza and a cake "Raffaelo".

Such meetings are important for women because they not only learn, involving in the process of cooking of various dishes, but also get a chance to talk and discuss their problems.

Women's Support Center is a place where women have opportunity not only to acquire knowledge on various issues, but also to share their experiences.

In August, master-classes on cookery were held in 6 cities, where function Women’s Support Centres. As always, after listening to the theoretical part participants involved in the process of preparation themselves. Together, they prepared cakes, pies and salads.

After participation in such meetings they had a desire to participate in other measures of the organization, learn more about their rights and obtain useful knowledge.

At the master-classes carried out in July in Women’s Support Centres of Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Poti, Senaki, and Khurcha participants – women and girls IDPs and locals learned how to cook cakes and pies. They obtained many advices on what they should do to cook a tasty cake. Participants involved in the process of cooking themselves.
