Members of the Club of Women-Voters who gathered in the editorial office of the newspaper "Khobis Moambe” discussed the amendment in the Organic Law of Georgia on Political Union of Citizens (additional 10% of financing to the electoral subjects, which will include at least 20% of female representatives to the municipal election list) and the Georgian National Action Plan on UN SCR 1325 (2012-2015).
The Club members welcomed this amendment. According to them it will contribute to the increased number of women in politics.
Manana Shulaia, Naira Beraia and Nino Kemularia shared their impressions on the training held by Fund "Sukhumi” on advocacy and lobbying. They consider that such measures will help them effectively solve problems of local population.
