At a meeting of the Club of Women-Voters was raised the issue of water supply, since the population is supplied with water only for one hour per day. In February, the advocacy group will be working on this problem. The issues of IDPs resettlement was also discussed at the meeting.  The project assistant provided participants of the meeting with the information about an amendment to the Organic Law of Georgia on Political Unions of Citizens in order to increase women's political participation. Namely, the amendment envisages the additional 10% of financing to the electoral subjects, which will include at least 20% of female representatives to the municipal election list.  Members of the Club of Women-Voters believe that this amendment will contribute to the dynamic growth of women's political activity.   The project is implemented with the support of the organization NED – National Endowment for Democracy, USA.
