"The phenomenon of Georgian-Abkhaz mixed families” – the theme of meetings caused interesting debate.
"The problem of mixed families is very topical. As far as we know over one hundred Georgian-Abkhaz couples have married after the war. This fact shows that we have very deep common roots and even the war could not eradicate this relationship and our future joint life is possible”, - Maia Kopaliani.
In October Club meetings on the aforementioned theme were held in Tskhaltubo, Khoni, Poti and in Kutaisi.
The project is implemented with the support of Kvinna till Kvinna, women’s Swedish Foundation. |
