Legal advice services were provided at the six Women Support Centres
(WSC).
At the counseling meeting held in Kutaisi Women Support Centre attention
was drawn to the bill of the Labour Code and labour rights.
People gathered at Tskhaltubocentre talked to a lawyer about new ID
cards. Beneficiaries have problems with registration and marriage.
Attendees of the meeting in Khoni were interested in children’s rights.
At the WSC of Poti the main topic of conversation was issues of custody,
divorce and alimony.
At the WSC of Senaki were touched upon rights and obligations of
physical and legal persons. And in Khurcha they focused on women's inheritance
rights.
Legal advice services provided at the WSCs are interested people of
different age and education. Most of them believe that consultations are
particularly important for them because at these meetings, they learn how to
act if necessary, what kind of support they can be provided within the existing
legislation.
