Mobilizers in Women’s Support Centres in Gyumri
On 13-15 October mobilizers of Women’s Support Centres
of Fund "Sukhumi” from Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Senaki, Poti and village
Khurcha – Zugdidi District visited Armenian non-governmental organization
"Women for development” and three rural communities.
The objective of the visit was to study experiences of
the NGO and local rural communities.
The first meeting was held in the office of the
organization "Women for development”. During the meeting mobilizers also visited
three rural communities of the villages Gogovit, Torosgyukh and Tsogomarg. They
were very interested in the work experience of "Women for development” with
youth, specifically formation of separate groups of girls and boys as well as initiatives
of rural communities.
Mobilizers of Fund "Sukhumi” are ready to use this experience
in their centres.
The project is implemented with the support of the organization
EED Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst.
