An important issue about opening of the Centre for free screening for breast and uterus was raised again at the Club of Women-Voters.
An advocacy group addressed to the local self-government and the local health care services in writing, but the issue is still under consideration based on its complexity.
Women-members of the Club are sure that such free screenings programmes will become available the next year.
The issue of environment pollution was also raised at the meeting. Coordinator of the Green Movement Medea Kobalia talked about the harmful influence of plastic household items on health.
- We announce a cultural war to plastic, repeated use of which causes cancerigenic diseases! - said Medea Kobalia and club members supported her.
They decided to organize a joint action in the city.
The participants summed up their annual activity, discussed the results and changes. They are planning to do much in the future too. |
