Drivers, don’t drive drunk!

Stop! Life is the most valuable!

Citizens, keep the driving rules!

Such messages were submitted by the peaceful action participants. The action was organized in the new IDP settlement in Tskhaltubo. The organizers were members of an initiative group of the Youth centre of Fund "Sukhumi”.

The population was provided with informational leaflets, which explained the meaning and functions of the road signs.

Through this action participants reminded society that drunk driver is a risk to human life. This is what creates the basis for the protest.

Local citizens joined the initiative too. Drivers moving in this area also showed their support and have accidently become participants of the action.

The relevance of the problem was conditioned by often car accidents in Tskhaltubo.

Prior to the action there was held a debate on the topic "Youth for the protection of life”.

Members of debate club discussed internet statistic based on which one of the serious reasons of car accidents is a drunk driver. In the opinion of young people, human life is the most valuable and no one has the right to encroach on it.
