This issue of the journal contains several evaluations of Fund Sukhumi’s activity:

"Domestic violence” is a problem which we’ve been working on for long with Fund "Sukhumi”. The main is what changes we can make in people’s lives”, - Ilonka Boltze (coordinator of EED on Balkans and Caucasus).

"You work much and do much for women”, - Michael Kronenberg (financial Director of EED).

"It was very prestigious for me to work with Fund Sukhumi staff for ten days, - John Beauclerk (international evaluator from Great Britain).

The journal is another confirmation of the great work done - the articles contain the information about the work of Fund "Sukhumi" to improve the situation of women in family and society, this means changes in the lives of women, the impact on individuals through specific actions: trainings and consultations, meetings with a gynecologist and Forum-theatre, held at the central Park, TV programme with the participation of journalists and the debate on early marriage, work on the resettlement and concerns reflected in the broadcast, the meeting with IDPs living in Lechkhumi, and the international campaign "Global Week of Action Against Gun Violence".

As all other issues, this one reflects the courage, strength and solidarity of women.

The second issue of " Women’s Voice” has been released and distributed. The main theme of the magazine is a joint forum of Fund "Sukhumi" and Fund of Women Entrepreneurs "Prevention of domestic violence - a strategy and action plan".
As far as the forum was dedicated to the celebration of 100 years of Women’s International Day, the first article of the magazine tells about this holiday (the basis of this date is women’s demonstration in 1875, the demonstration of women who worked for 16 hours and receive less payment than men. In 1911, 8th of March was declared an International Women's Day).
After 100 years, women have to fight for their rights and in particular to protest against domestic violence. This protest is felt on every page of the magazine.

Women - representatives of local government are also members of the Club, and this makes cooperation with local authorities much easier.
