The first stage of the project "Georgia Internally Displaced People’s Community Development Project” has been completed. Fund "Sukhumi” has carried out its activities in seven communities:

-   Kutaisi – Kopitnari

-   Gori – Khurvaleti

-   Gori – Shavshvebi

-   Gori – Autocamping

-   Zugdidi – Zeda Etseri

-   Zugdidi – "Vektori”

-   Borjomi – "Plato”

The first stage of the project "dissemination of information” consisted of the following sub-stages:

-   meetings with local government of the communities;;

-   meetings with IDP groups from target communities;

-   dissemination of the materials for the Information Campaign, prepared by the PMU, to the target communities.

Community members made an evaluation of the first stage of the project: There is an innovation in the project, the direct participants in the process of the selection of priorities and planning of micro-projects are inhabitants of the communities and this should be welcomed.

The project is implemented with the support of the World Bank.
