Members of the Club of Women-Voters Nana Kopaliani and Mzia Mushkudiani shared their impressions about meetings in Azerbaijan and Armenia with the Club members. They mentioned that meetings conducted within the framework of the project funded by the U.S. Embassy in Georgia were very important with regard to awareness raising and experience exchange.

- We acquainted with the work of the local self-government, social programmes, programmes on health protection and education taking into account gender aspect, - Nana Kopaliani.

The main part of the Club meeting was dedicated to the workshop on the theme – Expected amendments in the Election Code of Georgia. They said that it is necessary to recheck and specify election lists.  Members of Election commission should be retrained and certified. Most of the participants think that it is important to keep gender balance when compiling party lists.

The meeting ended with the discussion of the exhibition of a Russian photojournalist Victoria Ivleva.
