A regular radiobroadcast of Fund "Sukhumi” is about activities carried out by Fund for the last period.

In the broadcast there was sounded an interview of the representative of the National Endowment of Democracy, Martha Berta. She mentioned that NED works in Georgia to develop and support democracy. She welcomes women’s activity in Georgia, but thinks that much should be done yet.

Activists of the Club of Women-Voters of Zugdidi say that women’s communities should actively cooperate with government, raise topical issues and to be oriented on their solution.

The broadcast highlighted activities of the School of Young Women-Leaders, who are being trained on democracy at present. "The way of bringing up new generation will define the level of the development of our state. Tomorrow they will run the country", - said chairman of the local government of Kutaisi Amiran Khvadagiani at a meeting with young women-leaders in Sakrebulo.

A founder of Women's Political Resource Center Lika Nadaraia, who also worked with the girls, said: "Georgia has never been such "pro-male" as it is now, and it calls into question the level of democracy in the country. The new generation is more open and free, and will necessarily say its word".

The project is implemented with the support of the organization NED – National Endowment for Democracy, USA.
