The meeting was attended by local and IDP women, including representatives of local self government and Mass Media. The participants got information about the new project. They have great desire to actively engage again in socio-political processes. The Club members were acquainted with the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 and discussed international 16 Days of Activism Campaign Against Gender Violence. A lively discussion was conducted on the theme of domestic violence. They said that facts of violence against women are very frequent but people don’t speak aloud about them. The theme of elections was very topical at the meeting. Women expressed desire to take active participation in the future elections. In their words, members of election commissions should be replaced.   The project is implemented with the support of the organization NED – National Endowment for Democracy, USA.
