On November 25 members of Ozurgeti Club of Women-Voters took part in the Festival of national cuisine, held in the village Khurcha, Zugdidi district.

At the Festival were presented Kartlian, Imeretian, Abkhazian, Ossetian, Meskhetian, Svan and Russian dishes.

The members of Ozurgeti Club of Women-Voters treated participants of the Festival to delicious Gurian dishes - satsivi, gvezeli, mchadi, cheese, lobio.

Guests of the Festival had the opportunity to taste Gurian wine.

Gurian cuisine deserves special sympathy and activists of Fund "Sukhumi" were awarded certificates ...

In this form the Fund "Sukhumi" began to participate in the 16-day campaign against violence against women.

Information about this day was spread in the City hall of Kutaisi, on the territory near to the Parliament of Georgia, in A. Tsereteli State University and in other educational institutions.

Members of Kutaisi Club of Women-Voters say that they are happy, because this year

 they were given the opportunity again to take part in the campaign against violence against women.

Action in Zugdidi caused a great resonance. On the central streets of the city were distributed leaflets and calendars. Citizens expressed their support. They are ready to join the international campaign to protest violence.

An informational meeting was held for the students of Tskhum-Egrisi College and the branch of Kiev University. They were provided with the information about the campaign against violence against women.
