The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the
Chairperson of Fund "Sukhumi" and deputy chairman of Senaki
Municipality Council. The Memorandum defines the prospects of cooperation and
responsibilities taken by the parties in the local gender policy.
The Memorandum was signed within the framework of the
project that envisages the creation of a new institutional mechanism - Gender
Advisory Council.
According to the meeting participants signing of the
Memorandum will be the basis for an active and fruitful cooperation, and for
the achievement of gender equality.
