8 group and 5 individual psychological meetings were held in collective centers of Kutaisi. The meetings were attended by 59 women from19 to 64 years old.
The topic of the meetings – why we are so aggressive, where it comes from
Aggression is an indicator of the fact that there is not everything ok in the society. It is always an answer to psychological discomfort.
What shall we do to rule our aggression?
The answer is one – self-regulation. Effective method is also changing own attitude towards the situation. We must think that aggression gives nothing and make the mood worse, instead of this you must try to overcome barrier and solve the problem – thus your anger will disappear.

On November 4, 10 and 20 psychological consultations were held in Tskaltubo, Khoni and Poti, amount of participants was 29.
In Khoni the meeting was held in the office of the lawyer – Sophie Grdzelishvili, together with the beneficiaries the meeting was attended by the representatives of the NGOs. The issue was violence and its socio-psychological aspects.
In Poti and Tskaltubo besides the issues of domestic violence, conversation also touched the topic: “Anger and techniques of its ruling”.
On November 19 and 20, in the prisons of Kutaisi and Geguti, psychologist of the fund “Sukhumi” with support of the NGO “Man, law, freedom”, conducted 2-2 informational-discussion meeting on the issue of domestic violence. The prisoners were inter active, mainly in such issues as the roles inspired by mentality and stereotypes.

The lawyer of the fund “sukhumi” met the IDPs, residing in the hotel “Kolkhida” in Menji – Senaki Municipality.
The aim of the meeting was to familiarize with the IDP problems and the ways of their solution. The IDPs are worried mainly by the problem of anti-sanitary and resettlement. They do not know what will happen and when they will be allocated accommodation…It was decided to study the issue and write statement to the appropriate Ministry, in order to receive exact information.
There was also another issue – law on domestic violence and prevention mechanisms from the side of the state.
Informational, legal meeting was held in the fund “Sukhumi” on November 6, attended by 14 women.
The issue of the meeting was domestic violence, which is the most actual issue in the society.
The women spoke about reasons of violence, results and difficulties. Such meetings are important to by their opinion, as they get interesting information and use them in practice while saluting their problems.

The lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” conducted informational meeting with the IDPs residing in Kutaisi, in collective center of former cooperation college. The topic of the meeting was “Georgian law on prevention of domestic violence, protection of the victims and their assistance”.
The participants wee presented information about rights and duties of the police.
Besides the IPD population, 6 local families live in the mentioned flat. Despite the efforts and addressing competent bodies, they do not owe the living spaces. There is another problem too: damaged roads and sewage system. Individual consultations were made on different issues.
62 citizens attended informational meeting of lawyer in 6 IDP collective centers of Kutaisi on: “legal issues of neighbor relations”. Meeting participants mentioned that there are lots of conflicts of neighbors with the reason of lack of information.
According civil law of Georgian, neighboring relations envisage interrelations and obligations, respect equal allocation of general costs.
The consultation regarding following issues were made: restoration of IDP status, requesting of results of filled inquires, restoration processes of birth certificate, creation of “condominiums” in the collective centers.

The lawyer of Ozurgeti GAC began to work for solving the problems of the residents of Nikoladze Street, mainly - amortized road, which needed reaction long time ago. With the help of lawyer, statements of the citizens were prepared to the Mayor of Ozurgeti, which is already submitted to the City Hall.
On October 3, 7, and 13 consultations of the psychologist were held in the WSCs of Tskaltubo, Khoni and Poti.
The meetings in Poti and Tskaltubo were attended by 22 people. Individual consultations were held for 2 persons in Khoni.
The topics of group meetings were: emotional notion “anger” and its ruling, prevention of violence, with the aim of controlling negative emotions.
The issue is divided into two parts: first part comprises of psychological tests of group members regarding characteristics of aggression and emotions, the second one – familiarizing theoretical materials.
The aim of meetings was: control of emotions in family and public area, prevention of violence by correct behavior and protecting own rights.

On October 9, the lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” met the IDPs residing in the former hotel of Senaki military city and familiarized them with the rights, given to them by the law on IDPs, spoke about importance of IDP inquiry.
The lawyer got interested in problematic issues. It was revealed that the main problem of the peoples residing there is cellar, sewage, unsanitary. Solution of these problems is beyond their possibilities. They also asked for cleaning the territory and organize a square for the children and give them possibility to have minimal comfort.

Regarding the issue of peace in the family, the women began to speak about problematic families – with low-income, disadvantaged and incomplete (when one or both parents are migrated).
When we see families with scandals and quarrels, it is obvious that there is lack of knowledge of each others interests. Each has own mission in the family, but all of them must create one unity. For a man, family is collaboration, assistance, joint overcoming the obstacles. The women think that family is a relation based on confidence understanding and attention.
We must remember that love is a tree, which grows slowly on a fertile ground.
In September in collective centers of Kutaisi, 8 group meetings and 1 individual consultation were held.
The meetings were attended by 68women from 20 to 63.

September 28 is an international day of information freedom. In September, participants of the meeting received information on: “publicity and availability of information”, mainly: in case of interest, each citizen can familiarize and ask for the information in public premises, if it is not state, professional, commercial or private secret. There was also an information regarding: how must the citizen address public premises for receiving information, in what period must the state premises deliver information, in case of reject, the reason should be explained. Public information is free of charge, but there are exceptional cases too. Therewere also information regarding: bank relationship, agreement of loan, resettlement criteria, relations in family and so on.

On September 4, in the women support center of Kutaisi, informational-legal meeting was held, which was attended by the women of different ages.
The topic of the meeting was - rights for possession (for both women and men).
Besides above mentioned, legal consultations were made regarding following issues: agreement on awarding the property and its processes, registration, legal relations, alimony…
By the opinion of participants, during these meetings, they have possibility to gain necessary information, which will be used in the process of their problems’ solution.

6 meetings were held in August, with the IDPs residing in the collective centers, attended by 51 persons.
The conversation was regarding human rights, human rights protective organizations and human rights protection international declaration. The lawyer mentioned that human rights have long history of existence. Bible, Quran and Hamirabi Laws – these are eldest sources, which were the first to show human rights and issue of responsibility.
The participants learned a list of organizations, which protect human rights: International amnesty, Helsinki Society, society of saving cultural values, international commissions of the lawyers and others. Human rights may be classified in various way: civil and political rights, socio-economical and cultural rights.

These advices were acceptable for the women, who came to the meeting with the psychologist of the fund “Sukhumi” in collective centers of Kutaisi. Together with this issue the conversation was regarding different interesting issues for the women.

Informational meeting of the lawyer was held in Khoni, where the attendants received information regarding elimination of domestic violence, protection assistance of the victims and a law about the rules of one-term assistance with the aim of IDP social assistance.
There were questions regarding the criteria of socio-economical condition of socially unprotected families and other issues.
