The psychologist of Fund "Sukhumi" met with women IDPs in the Women’s SupportCenter in Khurcha (Zugdidi district). For the first time the attendees heard the information about the 16-day campaign against gender violence. They talked about forms of violence. According to them, they always are the victims of psychological violence, since they live in a conflict zone.
There was also held a meeting of the lawyer of Fund "Sukhumi" with women IDPs, who answered the questions of participants. There were disseminated posters, calendars, and leaflets about the campaign.
In October fund "Sukhumi" organized meetings in the Women's Support Centers in Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Khurcha, Poti, and Senaki. Participants of the meetings were IDP women from Abkhazia, schoolchildren and students.
A lawyer rendered consultations on different legal issues, in particular, there was discussed activity of the Civil Registry, innovations concerning the issuance of civil documents - birth certificates, marriage and divorce certificates, death certificates, and passports. At the request of citizens there was prepared a draft proposal of the lease of real estate. There were also provided consultations on issues of prisoners’ pardon.
The special attention was paid to the guidelines of the State Strategy on IDPs, according to which the process of provision of IDPs with the long-term housing has been fulfilled.

During September psychological consultations were rendered to women IDPs in Women's SupportCenter in Senaki, Khoni, Poti, Kutaisi and Khurcha.
Most of all women worry of the fact that they have to do homework from the morning till night, and so they don’t have time for themselves. The psychologist advises them to decorate their everyday lives because their mental state is much dependent on the general mood of the family. The less conflict situations, the easier it will solve the problem.

In August, legal consultations were rendered in Women's Support Centre. The following issues were discussed: divorce, rights of teachers, marriage contract, the loan agreement, guardianship, and inheritance. These issues were especially interesting for women IDPs during their meetings with a lawyer. Special attention was also paid to the rights of IDPs in process of housing within the framework of the State Strategy on IDPs.

8 group and 5 individual meetings of psychologist with women IDPs from Abkhazia were held in collective centers of Kutaisi.
Women often complain of feeling unwell, but psychologist says that they can control their emotions: "You are in a bad mood in the morning, offended at everyone. Suddenly your baby starts crying. You take him in your arms. You need to calm the child. You know how to do it, and you should not deceive yourself, you give rise to your emotions yourself.

In Women’s Support Centres of Western Georgia (Poti, Khoni, Senaki, Khurcha, Tskhaltubo, Kutaisi) were held 6 group and 7 individual meetings attended by 103 women IDPs.
- It is difficult to avoid the problems that surround us – women IDPs.
For 18 years the majority of IDPs live in uncertainty – unsettled life, unemployment, problems of migration. "So, it is not surprising, when women complain of depression, sadness, boredom, anxiety, fear, insomnia, obsessive dreams, hot flashes of anger, hopelessness. Each of them has several emotional reactions which they want to fight with. This is a group of women who need psychological rehabilitation”, - mentioned psychologist of Fund "Sukhumi”.

Consultations of Lawyer in different collective centres of Imereti region are continued. Women IDPs obtain competent answers to the questions they are concerned about. Most of their questions regard to the procedures of provision of IDPs with premise, role of the bodies of government and self-government, provision of protection of social rights, protection of children’s rights in family relations, solution of property dispute during divorce etc.
Meetings were held in Women’s Support Centres in Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Poti, Senaki, Khurcha.

Participants of group and individual meetings of psychologist in Women’s Support Centres (Poti, Khurcha, Tskhaltubo, Senaki, Khurcha, Kutaisi) were 58 women.
-It is better not to reproach a drunken husband, abuse and argue with him. You’ll have time to tell him everything you think about in the morning.
Observe him, controlling your emotions. That will help you to strengthen your relations and avoid misunderstanding. In that way you’ll help him and yourself. Woman needs to be attentive and able to make proper conclusions.
These were advices of psychologist for women who told about problems within their families regarding hard drinking of their husbands.

Procedures on provision of internally-displaced persons – IDPs with long-term premises, role of local self-government in provision of social rights’ protection, protection of children’s interests in family relations and changes and additions made in Election Code of Georgia, solution of property disputes during divorce – this is a list of issues being of special interest for citizens at the meetings with lawyer.
The meetings were carried out in Women’s Support Centres (Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Poti, Senaki, Khurcha). Citizens had possibility to be provided with legal consultations on the aforementioned issues.

Reasons of interrupting citizenship of Georgia; rules of discussion and solution of issues about Georgian citizenship; procedures of providing internally displaced persons – refugees with long-term premise; mechanisms of appealing in case of refusal from registration in the date base of families being over poverty line; protection of child’s interests in family relations; changes and additions made in Election code of Georgia – this is a list of issues which were of particular interest for citizens during meetings with lawyer.
The meetings were held in Women’s Support Centres of Kutaisi, Khoni, Poti, Senaki, Tskhaltubo and village Khurcha.

Group meetings of psychologist with 83 women were held in Women’s Support Centres of Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Senaki, Poti and Khurcha.
Village Khurcha is an administrative, frontier zone with Abkhazia. One of the residents mentioned: "I can sleep calm when I hear shootings. I feel myself safe. Silence frightens me much”. War has not been ended yet for those women.
They also have many problems in their everyday life.
"Everyone can live their life, but I am afraid of what people may say, and this fetters me much and does not give me freedom”.
"To look well visually does not mean to have peace of mind”.
Psychologist’s advices:
Cherish and keep your family but don’t forget about yourself.
Helping your family members, don’t load yourself with all problems. Let them through but don’t let them lay a heavy load on your shoulders.
Listen to others but believe yourself.
If something depresses you, tell about it.

How are families being behind the poverty line are registered in the database? What are the reasons of interrupting give out of social financial aid - consultations on these and other issues were rendered in March by the psychologist of Fund "Sukhumi” for IDPs, pupils, students in Women Support Centres in Kutaisi, Khoni, Poti and Tskhaltubo.
Students and pupils were rendered consultations on the rights and responsibilities of parents, about the specific measures on protection of adolescents from domestic violence. At the meeting special attention was paid to the acquaintance of IDPs with different stages of the program on issuing housing with the right to property according to the State Strategy on IDPs and also to the protection of the rights of IDPs.

In February Fund "Sukhumi” organized three meetings of lawyer in Women’s Support Centre in Kutaisi, Khoni and Tskhaltubo. In the meetings participated IDPs, students, and school children.
Lawyer rendered consultations on different legal issues and in particular how Civil Registry Agencies serve persons speeded up, about obligatory and voluntary forms of insurance.
Participants were also provided with the information about the cases when IDPs may be forcibly moved from the objects they are living in, and about agencies which implement this process.
School children got consultations on rights and obligations of parents, specific measures on protection of teenagers from domestic violence.
At the meeting they also paid special attention to guiding principles based on the State Strategy on IDPs according to which they provide IDPs with long-term premises.

In Women’s Support centres of Fund "Sukhumi” located in Khoni, Tskhaltubo, and Kutaisi there were carried out three group meetings of psychologist with women IDPs and teenagers, who went through art-therapy, while women used the theatre of images to evaluate reality, overcoming difficulties and acquiring skills of life. All these achievements makе women become self-confident.
Legal consultations for students, pupils, women IDPs of different age were rendered in Women’s Support Centres of Kutaisi, Khoni and Tskhaltubo.
The lawyer mentions that the most topical problem for IDPs is the problem of housing, that’s why they ask her to consult them on these issues. Pensioners are often interested in the conditions of restoring seniority for IDPs.
Pupils and students try to get information about their rights, about international documents serving to the protection of human rights.
