At the end of еру last year fund "Sukhumi" (together with NGOs of Ozurgeti and Akhaltsikhe) was involved in the project of the National Network of Protection from Violence "Rehabilitation for freedom".

The training was an innovation for the fund, as the work with probationers and adolescent boys, who are at risk, was carried out for the first time.

The trainings were held in their office on the topics: effective communication, conflict and alternative solutions, assertive behavior. The psychologist of еру fund actively worked at the training. There were also shown forum-theatre performances of Fund "Sukhumi".

The participants expressed their desire to take part in such work once again, and social workers and officers of Probation Office decided to continue active cooperation with our organization.

Our cooperation has been renewed since the New Year.

On 21 January a meeting was held with women probationers. After introduction, the work continued with the mental associative cards, where each of them found themselves and told about their experienced hard days. After three hours work their faces looked calm - and they became so close that exchanged their contact information and expressed a desire to participate in next meetings.
