12 women attended an informational meeting with lawyer
held at Khoni in January 16.
Discussions focused on the Court system and European Court of Human Rights.
Senaki Women Support Centre stands out by the number of
appeals to a lawyer. At informational meeting with the lawyer held in January
16, 13 women discussed human rights organizations.
The meeting organized at Poti Women Support Centre in January 23, was attended by 14 women
and girls. The marriage registrations and contract as a good method of
protecting property was chosen as the main topic of discussion. At the request
of the majority of inhabitants, living at #10 Gagra Street, the statement for
repairing their house was written and sends to Poti IDP Department.
In January 22, the consultation was held on the topic
of amendments to the Social Security Legislation. It was noted
that the families who lost the family support in the war, in case of presenting
the relevant documents, will be given 500 Lari.
At necessity the lawyer of Khurcha Women Support Centre has to provide extra consultations in
Khurcha and Nabakevi. In 24 January she met Nabakevi residents, who had the
problem connected to Passports and movement to and from Abkhazia.
At the meeting women have an opportunity to learn
about their rights, take appropriate consultations on
various issues and solve their problems with the help of fund "Sukhumi”
lawyers.
