The work-shop was attended by the young boys together with IDP and local women. The event was conducted by the trainers-who were prepared in frames of the project and successfully carried out the job.
In the first block of the collection there was a story of Visaka Darmadas from Shrilanka, the history is familiar for many families residing in Tskaltubo: “I fight for other women and do not want them to lose their children”. The pathos of this history was familiar to them: ”All wars are finished with reconciliation”.
The second part of the work-shop was devoted to the issues of women human security, during of which the participants divided the spheres, where gender security is protected most of all, it was said that it is essential to deeply realize their rights and manage and learn their protection, especially protection of labor rights, as there are number of examples that they cannot often use the rights provided by the law, mainly in the private sector.

Domestic
violence and their controlled mechanisms- was the topic of workshop with young
people held in Poti Women Support Centre.
-If we give possibility to conflict
development, the result we gain is the violence – that was the general opinion
of workshop participant’s.
-What are the methods of conflict management,
who and how avoid the conflict? - All participants tried to answer those
questions.
Some interesting moments were mentioned
during the discussion: most of girl participant’s believe that family violence
can be avoided if everyone rejects their positions.
The position of men was radically different
(the workshop was attended by two men). They basically blame women in family
conflicts. They say: - conflict between couples develops if women do not obey
and relinguish their opinions.
After discussion the group comes up to one
opinion: more information is needed. The boys should also present on such kind
of workshops to increase their consciousness and not to be based only on
stereotypes.

The
workshop, initiated at Tskaltubo Women Support centre began with the discussion
of personal conflicts.
A
brief introductory psychological test showed that personal conflicts greatly
affects the dynamics of the conflict.
-
Every person is different and we behave differently during conflicts. The
investigation of personal conflicts will enable us to choose a proper strategy
for the successful conflict management - said the workshop participants.
Finally
recommendation where given. Women consider that such meetings should be
attended by as many people as possible. If we do not allow the family conflict
to develop full-scale, it will seriously diminish the risk of violence in
separate families.
Similar
attitude were expressed by Senaki and khoni workshop participants. Overall
conclusion is that conflict management skill is one of key factors in domestic
violence prevention.

different regions of Western Georgia, which is, according to the project, is
the next task for the participants of the Young Leaders School.
The
