Members of the Leaders’ School of Fund "Sukhumi" conducted twelve workshops on the theme "Leadership and Conflict" in Kutaisi, Tskhaltubo Samtredia and Koki. In the meetings participated local and IDP young women from Abkhazia. They actively discussed their leadership skills and opportunities, how they should act in a conflict situation to control your emotions. Along with the power women assign leaders a huge responsibility. In their opinion, the leader must be able to manage his or her emotions, as "more is required from leader”. The leader can not be impulsive and unbalanced and make decisions in the heat of passion".

With the completion of the project there was issued the last, forth number of the journal "Women’s Voice in Politics”. That’s why the editorial staff of the journal tried to summarize the activity done and show readers the peculiarities, results and changes in lives of women living in Western Georgia brought by annual activity of the League of Women-Voters. The mission of the journal and effective activity of fund are clearly visible in women's records published on the last page. Marina Chokheli: Collaboration with Club fills us with hope, provides an incentive to work. I help ensure that families with many children living in Zugdidi district permanently receive financial aid. Nato Lomaia: I really like the journal "Women’s Voice in Politics". We can see from the journal that our comments and suggestions are taken into account. Ketevan Kadieshvili: The problem with transportation is acute in Ozurgeti. We are waiting for the response about special prices for transportation of students since September. This is the result of the activity of our advocacy group.

Meeting

September is associated with the beginning of the school year, so women again have many concerns with regard to their children. According to the psychologist, some parents believe that children are their property and physical punishment is an adequate way of their upbringing. If parents can imagine how tense internal organs of the child are during physical punishment, they would never have used this method. When parents do not have enough strength, no sufficient inner proximity with their child, there comes a "pedagogical helplessness," which turns into violence. The psychologist reminded women that punishment is a kind of lesson: "If punishment is severe your child may make the following conclusion – they do not love me". The duty of parents is to teach the child and if they do not have patience, compassion for the child, what can we expect from society? In the Women's Support Centers (Kutaisi, Tskhaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti, Khurcha) were conducted group meetings with a psychologist, which were attended by 113 women aged 17 to 55.   The project is implemented with the support of the organization EED Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst.
