Once again, the Club members were provided with the information about the 16 Days Campaign Against Gender Violence. They mentioned: "On November 25 we joined the mass action and expressed our protest to violence!"

The advocacy group of the Khoni Club of Women-Voters named pressing problems. One of the most pressing is the problem of high tuition fees in kindergartens. They also raised the issues of gasification and the opening of outpatient clinic. Participants of the meeting - women IDPs said that they tried to advocate for the lack of clinic, but in vain.

In the completion of the meeting participants said they would like to see the Club members as members of election commissions or as observers.

A pupil of the ninth grade of the public school in Koki (Zugdidi District) Anna Khasia held an information meeting for 25 young IDP and local women and girls. Participants were given leaflets, booklets, calendars and posters highlighting the 16 Days Campaign.

They had discussions on how to eliminate violence in society and how to be protected from violence.

 Young women said that such meetings have positive impact on them.

The contest of children asphalt drawings was held within the framework of 16 days campaign in the School № 5 of Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. 15 pupils of forth to tenth grades participated in it. Jury members were presented by senior pupils.

The main messages of the drawings on the theme of protest against violence made on the asphalt were: - Violence is evil, Youth chooses peaceful - non-violent environment, Let’s overcome violence with faith and love;

 At the end of the contest all the participants were awarded with prizes.

10 participants were writing essays for an hour. They knew that the contest was dedicated to the campaign against gender violence.

The contest was held in the public school № 6 of Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. After the contest members of the jury in Fund "Sukhumi" evaluated their works and revealed the winners.

The first place award was given to the only boy - participant, Levan Barateli, the second - Miriam Ardzhevanidze, the third - Londa Kvantaliani.

 The next day, the winners were awarded with books and all the other participants were given small gifts.

 - Participation in the contest was very interesting for me, - said in her interview for TV journalists of Fund "Sukhumi" Mariam Ardzhevanidze. - No one should tolerate violence. We must do everything to achieve Peace in the home and Peace in the world.
