Within the framework of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence Campaign a drawing contest was held in the village Koki, Zugdidi District. 18 pupils from 5th to 8th grades participated in the contest. The theme of the contest was "Peace in the Home – Peace in the World”.
Members of the jury revealed 3 winners who were awarded gifts. After the completion of the contest the participants explained what they wanted to express with their drawings.
- Peace is when there is peace in the home and this means that everything will be OK in the World!
Within the framework of the 16 Days Campaign Against Gender Violence was held another asphalt drawing contest. 15 pupils of 4th to 8th grade participated in it.
The first place was awarded to Lizi Khuchua, the second to Tamaz Kvatania, and the third to Bacho Telia. Three winners were awarded various prizes, and the other participants were given souvenirs.
At the meetings with young women organized
within the framework of the 16 Days Campaign Against Gender Violence, were actively
discussed international documents on women’s rights. This information appeared
to be timely and necessary for the IDP girls.

Young Women Leaders’ School graduate Irina Putkaradze conducted information meeting within the framework of the 16 Days Campaign. In the meeting participated staff of Tshaltubo municipality services for education, culture, sports, and youth.
Forum-theatre performances of Fund "Sukhumi” were showed within the framework of the 16-days campaign for students of Kutaisi A. Tsereteli University and members of JSC "Kutaisi Automotive Plant".
After the performances, the audience and actors tried to find a way out of the situations of violence. All the discussion participants agreed with the opinion that all must struggle against violence.
In December were held four Club meetings in Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskhaltubo and Senaki with participation of 75 women.
Participants of the meetings were provided with the information about the 16 Days Campaign against gender violence and given posters, calendars and booklets.
A meeting held in Kutaisi was special since there was screened a film about Abkhazia. Girls were listening to a popular TV journalist Nino Dzotsenidze with great interest.
"The project taught us to be independent and to value time. We have a desire to know and learn more", - said the girls.
A participant of the Leaders’ School Lika Baramia organised drawing contest
on football squaire of the collective centre "Medea” in Tskhaltubo. The theme
of the contest was "From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World”. 14
schoolchildren aged 10 to 18 participated in the contest. Three winners were
awarded different prizes.
