In October fund "Sukhumi" organized meetings in the Women's Support Centers in Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Khurcha, Poti, and Senaki. Participants of the meetings were IDP women from Abkhazia, schoolchildren and students. A lawyer rendered consultations on different legal issues, in particular, there was discussed activity of the Civil Registry, innovations concerning the issuance of civil documents - birth certificates, marriage and divorce certificates, death certificates, and passports. At the request of citizens there was prepared a draft proposal of the lease of real estate. There were also provided consultations on issues of prisoners’ pardon. The special attention was paid to the guidelines of the State Strategy on IDPs, according to which the process of provision of IDPs with the long-term housing has been fulfilled. The project is implemented with the support of the organization EED Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst.
