The topic aired meeting of majoritarian candidates with the IDP population of Kutaisi in Center of Democratic Involvement. What are accommodation conditions of IDPs, what problems do they have and how it is possible to solve them. Intensive dialogue was held round these issues. As it was obvious, the candidates know the situation well and have the view of their solution.
The story also tells, if society attitude has changed towards women candidates, how do they see their chances and what issues do they consider as priority. What is the society attitude in pre-election period and what predictions do the ordinary people make.
As it was mentioned the meeting was carried out in frames of the synergy project, the aim of which was preparation of IDP women for the elections, presenting citizens’ problems to majoritarian candidates and introducing their pre-election program.
Program of the TV Company “Rioni” reflects the research regarding the problem of bulling and reveals unhealthy psychological climate among the youth (importance of the issue was seen in the previous programs of TV “Rioni”, where the specialists of the fund speak about dangerous scales of the problem)…
As it is seen from the story, Kutaisi GAC actively reacts on problems, which are revealed in the reality of Kutaisi. Monitoring of pre-school educational premises was conducted; there were issues, which can be solved by reacting on local level.
According the program, there are two women candidates for the Mayor in Kutaisi. Women majoritarian candidates also conduct active election campaign. They consider that cheering measures had its results and many political parties actively cooperated with the women. In spite of this, the experts do not expect obvious changes of gender picture in self-government.
Women members of acting Sakrebulo claim that they greet increasing of women-candidates’ number and say that they play the role of indicators in Sakrebulo and mainly have timely and innovative suggestions, so it is in the interests of the voters to have more women in Sakrebulo.
13.05 - The story, aired in the show “Fact”, shows the attitude of Ozurgeti voters to the women’s involvement in politics. Position of ordinary people is positive, but principle: “It is important to envisage their view”. Those who are not sure – if they can change politics, consider that “they must be involved in ruling country”, “Both – women and men must be equally presented in the election body”.
14.05 – “Fidelity”, “Voter’s Confidence Mandate”, “Balancing of Political Temperature” – these characters are main for the woman politician by the opinion of men, who are involved in local politics and they are glad that there are many women among their members.
22.05 – TV show is devoted to women’s participation in local elections and presents to the voters the main “massages” of two women – the members of GAC. Ozurgeti is among those two self-governmental units, where the woman will vote as a candidate of Mayor.

On the Fifth meeting of Senaki GAC there were discussed results of analysis of local group’s gender needs research. As the respondents mention, different interesting suggestions were revealed, regarding long-term perspectives and is mainly directed on economical development. Besides, there were presented various initiatives, regarding women supporting programs.
“No one must have feeling that allocation of local resources is not fair, that is why majority of society must be involved in the process”. “Not any self-government refuse to collaborate in this way, it is essential for the society to collaborate, express their views for reflecting them in self-government budget” – said the participants.
Topic in TV “Egrisi” gives the gender picture of Senaki election administration. Chairperson of the DEC – is Maia Pirtskhalava since 2008. All 5 permanent commission members are women. For the election period 13 people are involved in the process. 11 of them are women 2- men. 5 of 9 technical personnel are women; they show us an award of CEC with proud, which is notification of their faithful work.
“We know the activities of the Fund ”Sukhumi” well and are glad that it made good basis of interesting work in Senaki”, Mrs. Maia expresses a hope that the GAC will help citizens to solve many actual cases.
The lawyer of DEC – Ramaz Kupreishvili underlines competence and high responsibility of the colleagues and mentions that collaboration with them is quite comfortable.

In the show, which was aired in the ether of "Channel 25", the roundtable participants, members of the GAC, representatives of IDP groups, youth and NGO partners say speak about the issues, which must be solved at this stage and in what direction should be deepened cooperation with local authorities.
Interviewers emphasized the importance of integrating gender aspects in the local budget
The TV program shows the positions of round table participants, regarding, how sophisticated are existing mechanisms of fighting against domestic violence and how it should be refined.
To the opinion of the respondents, the fund once again gave them chance to exchange their opinions regarding this. Once again was noticed the urgency of violence problem – especially on the background of the last troublesome statistics and necessity of inter-agency collaboration, dialogue and information exchange.

The plot of the last broadcast of "TV Egrisi" reflects the participation of women in Senaki self-government and work of Senaki Gender Advisory Council in support of women.
In the show there were given specific examples showing how the women's participation is supported by the legislation at the local level; how the women combine in professional action with family matters and what is their share in improving local politics.
