Senaki Municipality Council is ready to assist Fund
"Sukhumi” in the achievement of the project objectives, supported by the UN
Women’s Fund for Gender Equality.
On the 18th of September representatives of
Fund "Sukhumi” met with an acting chairman of Senaki Municipality Council, Mr.
Zurab Khaburzania.
The objective of the meeting was to familiarize an
acting chairman of the Council with the project that envisages the creation of
a new institutional model - Gender Advisory Councils in three cities of Western
Georgia (Kutaisi, Senaki, Ozurgeti), and discuss future plans for cooperation.
Senaki Municipality Council and fund "Sukhumi” are
tied together by positive and fruitful cooperation, as a result of which,
according to Mr. Zurab, confidence of citizens to the work of Municipality
Council has increased.
"Senaki Municipality Council is ready to be actively
involved in the work of the Gender Advisory Council to achieve gender equality
and improve the situation of local population”, - said Zurab Khaburzania.
