Members
of Khoni Club of Women-Voters of Fund "Sukhumi”, some of whom are IDPs from
Abkhazia and reside in Khoni military town, raise problems of healthcare along
with the other issues.
Most
of the IDPs are socially vulnerable and are provided with free medical service.
In the town there operates free ambulance service, but according to them there
should be restored a clinic in the collective centre of IDPs. They have many
times raised this issue at the local level - with guests invited to the Club of
Women Voters...
This
time, members of the club decided to collect signatures. They will address
local structures that they apply with the issue to the Ministry of Health.
The
club members have pointed out that the issue of a clinic is vital for them, and
they hope that the problem will be solved in the near future.
The project is implemented with the support
of the organization NED – National Endowment for
Democracy (USA) |
