Journalists, who are met by the representative of the Fund "Sukhumi" in Ozurgeti, are members of the gender Journalists Network. Many of them are actively involved in the work of Ozurget Gender Advisory Council (GAC), they air WSC activitis and respond to the challenges raised at informational meetings and meetings of the WVC (for example, the journalist George Girkelidze published information about the problem of ethnical minorities living on Chokhatauri street - http://www.gurianews.com).

It is useless to speak with Ozurget journalists about the importance and necessity of a gender perspective in the media. We can only thank for the partnership and cooperation.

But a new project especially connected representatives of various media sources and stimulated to think about joint media project to promote gender equality and women's support in the pre-election campaign.

Local TV aired a topic of the meeting.
