For members of the Batumi Gender Advisory Council (GAC) and the activists, three-day training organized by the Fund "Sukhumi" was held, regarding the issues of gender budgeting and gender analysis of the budget.

What is gender budgeting, what are the advantages of the program budget, how to distribute the budget equally and fairly, and what skills are needed in order to carry out the monitoring and analysis of the local budget.

Participants of the training - according to them – they worked with interest, depth, in an interactive format on these issues. During the training knowledge and skills will form the basis of the work that will be carried out on gender analysis of the budget of the Batumi.
