The fifth extraordinary session of the Gender Advisory Council held a presentation of the kindergarten architectural project construction of which is planned in the Auto factory settlement, dadiani Street.

The author of the project – Mikhgeil Zhorzholiani mentioned:

The kindergarten is designed for 150 children. I wanted to compose fabulous tower-like design for the children. Unfortunately, the funding for the construction is not enough, the Standards also limit us. As for the gender aspects, WCs for girls and boys are considered to be separately. The panduses are not envisaged. The presentation showed that there is possibility of visual changes in the kindergarten construction.

The meeting proved: the council should address the Mayor to increase Kindergarten building budget by 500000 GEL, for ensuring children with necessary comfort (heating, enough wardrobes, panduses…), also while preparing the yards there must be foreseen the girls’ interests.

While starting network debate on youth issues, immediately appeared recommendations from the older generation, they are comparing the period of their youth with our reality. Nominated are: computer (Internet), and a poor relationship between parents and children who unfortunately became "strangers" to each other.

- The fact that today you are more independent generation, does not give you the right to afford everything. It is important not to forget the national traditions and respect them.

- We are a new generation, who is familiar to each other, filter and take a civilization that is still in the process of transformation. We hope that only the best will be left in our reality.

Discussing the topic of the relationship of different generations, these two comments deserved great number of likes.
