Teachers, senior pupils of the school # 2 of Senaki
and their parents were acquainted with the project goals and objectives of Fund
"Sukhumi", and informed about the international 16 Days of Activism Against
Gender Based Violence Campaign.
The school is actively involved in the work of
non-governmental organizations on issues of civic education. There are various
clubs (dance, art, sports) in schools. Schoolchildren participate in trainings,
learn to write projects...
Therefore, they are happy to cooperate more actively
with Fund "Sukhumi", which they consider as one of the most active
organizations.
At the meeting, they talked about women's problems
including unemployment:
"We sometimes do not have the possibility to buy
school supplies for children. Moreover - because of financial problems we
cannot take care of our health", - said Nano Ejibia.
They have a great desire that Senaki Club of
Women-Voters continued advocating for various problems.
The project is implemented with the support
of the UN
