Mobilization meetings are devoted to the 16-days campaign. Many of the participants already know the objective of the annual campaign and that they should be implacable with regard to violence.

Such a mood was at the meetings organized by the mobilizers of Khoni Women Support Centre.

On the second day of the action the girls from Kutaisi Young Leaders’ School of Fund "Sukhumi” held an informational action in the centre of the city – in the most crowded place, where they distributed leaflets, white ribbons and informed many people about the campaign.

In Senaki young leaders organized a clean-up action in the park. They attracted passers’-by attention with informational materials and talked about the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence Campaign.

The Youth Center of Senaki offered an unusual sight - a flashmob to the residents of the city. There were lots of people who know learnt about the campaign and the importance of every person’s participation in violence prevention.

Members of Batumi club have advocaced for the problem of water supply in the territory of Bendze. Advocacy group members applied to the local structures many times - now population is systematically supplied with water.

A resident of Benze Natia Okropiridze thanked the Club of Women-Voters of Fund "Sukhumi".

 - It is highly encouraging that the club studies problems and finds solutions, - she said.

In the future advocacy group is planning to advocace for the new problems.

Teachers, senior pupils of the school # 2 of Senaki and their parents were acquainted with the project goals and objectives of Fund "Sukhumi", and informed about the international 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence Campaign.

The school is actively involved in the work of non-governmental organizations on issues of civic education. There are various clubs (dance, art, sports) in schools. Schoolchildren participate in trainings, learn to write projects...

Therefore, they are happy to cooperate more actively with Fund "Sukhumi", which they consider as one of the most active organizations.

At the meeting, they talked about women's problems including unemployment:

"We sometimes do not have the possibility to buy school supplies for children. Moreover - because of financial problems we cannot take care of our health", - said Nano Ejibia.

They have a great desire that Senaki Club of Women-Voters continued advocating for various problems.

Participants of the Forum-theatre Festival played in the performances of the forum-theatre of Fund "Sukhumi”, organized in the school # 30 of Kutaisi.

There were held six performances - interesting, professional, and impressive with active inclusion of spectators, as if in the same breath...

The performance was attended by a representative of the donor organization Martin Hyt’ha. He said that he knew a lot about the forum-theater, visits the web-site with great interest to read fresh information about the forum-theatre, but one should see it with his or her own eyes, as it is impossible to convey these feelings...

A roundtable meeting on the theme "Gender aspects of human security" was held in Kutaisi on a background of active discussions. Women, including women IDPs, identified areas in which they feel themselves less secure. They believe that more measures should be taken to protect human security.

The roundtable was held during the 16-day campaign and represented one of the activities in the peacemaking project of Fund "Sukhumi" - "Women and girls acting in the name of peace, security and social justice".

The project participants acquainted attendees of the round table with the results of the work on the "Database of Women Peacemakers ."

Participants of Young Leaders School actively continue conduction of different events within the framework of the campaign.

They distributed leaflets and calendars at central streets and the market area of Tskhaltubo.
