The meeting was held attended by 12 young girls and boys.
The topic of the meeting was the creation of gender balance in Georgia.
As it was the first time the participants have attended the meeting, it
started with introduction. An active discussion was caused by the main topic of
the meeting. The participants mentioned that it is hard to change social
consciousness in our country, as traditions and customs are the important
integral part of our life. Christina Kharchilava expressed an interesting idea
:”We already have a gender balance in my family. Some people talk behind our
backs that my husband is a weak person, but we know what is good for our
family.”

The meeting was attended by 15 school pupils.
The topic of the meeting was gender balance and Georgian society, its
traditions and stereotypes.
The participants expressed interesting ideas.
"These topics must be discussed with the youth. I like when the
relationships are balanced on equality and the responsibility is
shared”-mentioned a mail participant of the meeting.
"I don’t like my parents’ relationships. I am annoyed with my mother’s
obedience. I think our consciousness needs to be changed .It is far better to
leave in equal society and the future generations will have healthier
attitudes”-said a female participants.
