This time the meeting of Ozurgeti voter women’s club was attended by three new members, an IDP among them. They got interested in club activities and expressed a will of collaboration.

On of the active members of the club - Tamar Dumbadze mentioned, that she will nominate herself in the elections of local self-government. The motivation was raised after working in voter women’s club.

The personality of Tamar Dumbadze is supported by the club members – an initiative group will be created, signatures will be collected, pre-election campaign will be conducted. For this they need special training course.

The ordinary meeting and debates on the issue "Human Security” was held in Senaki Youth Center. This is the fifth city, where the youth gathered to speak about their problems. The meeting was attended by member of civil education club Rusudan Inalishvili, who presented interesting materials regarding national security conception.

The members listed several important aspects that are dangerous for them: Senaki Military Base, that makes the town as a epicenter in case of war. Also there were the issues regarding increase if criminal, dusting the area, absence of health and educational programs.

The debates were interesting. All of them thought over more actual issues again.

"We thought that we envisaged lots of social issues in the budget, but the trainings showed the problems from different prism and now we know that our work should be improved” – that was the evaluation of the training from the side of Sakrebulo members on ordinary meeting of Gender Consultation Council in Ozurgeti. Changes in the regulation were discussed on the meeting, the analysis of the gender issues was made. The members of the council were introduced to the planned research and blanks, which will give us opportunity to make analysis of local gender needs. The head of the council mentioned that Sakrebulo is ready to support their work, the proof of it is, that there was allocated a room for Gender Consultation Council in Sakrebulo.

The general meeting with Ozurgeti journalists was held in the independent television "Guria TV”.

The meeting was attended by the journalists from local newspapers and also the members of Ozurgeti Gender Consultation Center.

The journalists are ready to air not only the work of the GCC and Fund "Sukhumi”, but allocate more attention to the social themes, women’s problems, gender issues.

They have an idea to prepare joint media project. They are ready to share their experience and knowledge in finding new financial resources for additional work on gender issues.
