In former Sanatoria “Menji” there are 65 IDP families – about 200 people. They have lots of problems, they do not know what balance is the building on – state or private owner, when will be mentioned building rehabilitated and the IDPs satisfied with new spaces.

Sewerage system of the building is amortized. There is no water, so they carry it from the yards away.

There are no garbage bins nearby, so the IDPS use the bunker of the building, but the bunker is also damaged and full of garbage. Because of this there is unsanitary condition that is dangerous for the residents.

Fund “Sukhumi” raise this question in “Georgian Dream” office in Senaki. The reaction was immediate – with involvement of city cleaning service, the problem was solved the other day.

- We learned and realized many things. I was not going to vote, but now I look at this case differently. My voice may be decisive, it is my obligation and I will fulfill it.

 - Now I think another way. When the candidate will visit us, I will ask – what does he promise to the youth! I will make choice according his program.

These opinions were announced on the debates conducted by Senaki Youth Centre attended by the pupils of 12-th grade. The topic for discussion was interesting for them, as this year they participate in the elections first time.

Majority of them had no information about deadline of choosing the government, what does Sakrebulo mean, what are its functions and how it is complicated. The young people decided to visit Senaki Sakrebulo, and learn about self-governmental activities.

Fifth meeting of Senaki GAC was devoted to discussion of the analysis of the research results of local gender needs of Senaki women, which was conducted in last month by the council members.

Presented research analysis gives full picture of women problems existing in the city. It should be mentioned that given analysis will give direction for both – GAC and selg-government work – said the representative of the council, Natalia Khubua.

The meeting was also attended by the member of Kutaisi GAC – Natalia Todua, who presented the information about the work of Kutaisi GAC and a problem of bulling in schools, also gender problems in kindergartens, She underlined main problems, revealed by the questioning of teachers, pupils and parents.

GAC members heard this information with interest and mentioned that situation is not so good in schools and kindergartens of Senaki.

But at the same moment it was noticed that travel by transport for the pupils and teachers of Senaki Municipality is free of charge. This is considerable information for Kutaisi GAC.

Meeting participants expressed hope that net of all GACs.
