Ozurgeti GAC summarized results of conducted research: needs of what women groups were emphasized, how do the respondents see solution ways of the problems of women, youth, disabled groups, old and socially unprotected people.

Council members talked about long-term perspectives of different social groups support and development. The meeting was attended by Natalya Todua, who shared her experiences with the participants.

Residents of Chokhatauri Street No16, Ozurgeti, are waiting for reconstruction of the road in front of their flat.

Manoni Gvinjilia mentioned, that after appearing the fund “Sukhumi” in their settlement, they have a hope to improve situation.

Representatives of Ozurgeti GAC and GYLA told us to write a statement and the local government promised to make road.

Representative of the Fund “Sukhumi” was informed about a problem of the Khintibidze family. Nino Khintibidze is a mother of 4 children; one of them is disabled and her mother Zaira Mshvidobadze cannot move. With the reason of financial problems, socially unprotected family is under a risk of staying without electricity. The large family asks for assistance from the side of local government.

There were raised juridical questions on the meeting, which were answered by the lawyer – Tamaz Trapaidze and promised to react properly.

Ordinary meeting of the Fund “Sukhumi” mobilizers was held in Kutaisi. Participants discussed about concrete measures that should be held for further strengthening WSCs, they shared ideas regarding future project.

While group work, there were opinions that WSCs should have more opportunities for real assistance of the violence victim. It would be also good to envisage beneficiaries will and open courses of sawing, knitting, accounting and computer teaching, which will employee the participants in future.

The net planned to conduct  events in WSCs devoted to children’s day on June 1.
