In the Public school No 7 there was held a debate on: “Teenager’s Views about Religion”, attended by 20 young people. This issue got more interesting for last period and the pupils expressed the will to talk about it.

There were opinions regarding state religion, religious minorities, importance of antidiscrimination law. There was again noticed that each person has right of existence and no one should be the victim of violence, though this opinion had opponents too.

The pupils expressed will to participate in other activities of the Fund “Sukhumi”.

13.05 - The story, aired in the show “Fact”, shows the attitude of Ozurgeti voters to the women’s involvement in politics. Position of ordinary people is positive, but principle: “It is important to envisage their view”. Those who are not sure – if they can change politics, consider that “they must be involved in ruling country”, “Both – women and men must be equally presented in the election body”.

14.05 – “Fidelity”, “Voter’s Confidence Mandate”, “Balancing of Political Temperature” – these characters are main for the woman politician by the opinion of men, who are involved in local politics and they are glad that there are many women among their members.

22.05 – TV show is devoted to women’s participation in local elections and presents to the voters the main “massages” of two women – the members of GAC. Ozurgeti is among those two self-governmental units, where the woman will vote as a candidate of Mayor.

On the Fifth meeting of Senaki GAC there were discussed results of analysis of local group’s gender needs research. As the respondents mention, different interesting suggestions were revealed, regarding long-term perspectives and is mainly directed on economical development. Besides, there were presented various initiatives, regarding women supporting programs.

“No one must have feeling that allocation of local resources is not fair, that is why majority of society must be involved in the process”. “Not any self-government refuse to collaborate in this way, it is essential for the society to collaborate, express their views for reflecting them in self-government budget” – said the participants.

The lawyer of the Fund “Sukhumi” devoted meetings to the law against domestic violence and conversation about mechanisms or reducing violence and importance of stable family, unity and confidence, which will decrease conflicts and violence.

In IDP collective centers 6 meetings were conducted. Participants gained information about phases and procedures of guardianship and custody.
