In the center of democratic involvement of Kutaisi, in frames of the regional project “Synergy – strengthening of IDPs by involvement and cooperation – active work with IDPs and women groups directed to their preparation for elections”, fund “Sukhumi” conducted meetings of the IDPs from 12 collective centers of Kutaisi with women-candidates in local bodies, who represent both, governmental party “Georgian Dream” and non-parliament opposition: “Self-government for the people”, “non-parliament opposition (Kukava, Chikhradze)”, candidates for the Mayor of Kutaisi.
The meeting was attended by 40 people, both: women and men. The candidates got familiar with the IDP problems, and the IDPs – with the programs fo the candidates.
During the performane “violence in the family”, a woman passed by, she though that it was real quarreel and began to shout: “What are you looking at? Go and help!”, but after learning that it was just a performance she laughed a lot.
Forum-theater of the fund “Sukhumi” staged performances in Kutaisi, Ninoshvili square and showed 6 episodes to the public.
“Interesting, real and necessary for society, especially for the youth” – this was the evaluation of the forum-theatre viewers.

In WSCs of Tskaltubo (May 2), Poti (May 22), and Khoni (May 27) psychological consultations on actual issues were held, mainly regarding difficulties of communication barer caused by inferiority complex. The meeting was attended by 45 beneficiaries.
After discussion and analysis of problems, facts, and concrete situations, the women received recommendations, how to work with themselves to reduce this complex and avoid inconvenience that disturbs them in communication.

Culinary master-class was attended by activists of the center. They received advises by experienced baker, how to bake a cake in a way to be soft and sweet.
Members of the meeting were involved in the process of preparation, at the end all together tried the cake “Ideal”, which was really ideal.

- Our women are proud of the fact that they are friends with their children and they trust them too much, - says the psychologist of the fund “Sukhumi”.
There is a question, why did we decide that being a parent is worse than being a friend. We began to understand that authoritarian style of parentship works not so well and began to elaborate something new – they called modern word “friendship” to adequate behavior and ensured management. It is dangerous to overdo the friendship, the authority may be lost. Friendship must be equal. Children want confidence, support and understanding from the side of parents. This is the most important. It is a pleasure to live in such harmonic family.
There were conducted 8 group meetings with psychologist in the collective centers of Kutaisi in May, devoted to the “Day of Family” and 4 individual consultations regarding different problems.
