A meeting of the
project "Strengthening women’s
voices in decision-making” implementers -
Fund "Sukhumi" and Association of Women of Abkhazia was held in
Istanbul. In total seven women arrived - 4 from Kutaisi and 3 from Sukhum(i).
The program of the
meeting - completion of the first (pilot) stage - included the following
issues:
analysis and sharing
experience of the project implementation, discussion of the continuation of the
second stage and elaboration of an action plan of the project.
Except for the
project implementers from Fund "Sukhumi” and AWA the meeting was attended by
Mr. Kevin Tait – a representative of the donor organization – Federal
Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland.
The objective of the
meeting has been achieved: the strategic direction of the project continuation
has been prepared by joint efforts.
